2009 Capital City Young Bird Derby

Valley, Victoria, BC.

ONE LOFT RACE ... 3 RACE POINTS

Maximum 65 perches available at a cost of $50.00 per perch and $150.00 entry fee per bird.  Prize payouts based on 58 entries.

Payment of perch fee reserves your perch and should be paid as soon as possible.    Please make cheque payable to the CCRPC and send to B. Paulsen at 4186 Blenkinsop Road, Victoria, BC  V8X 2C4.  Entry fee must be paid at the time the bird is received at the loft or before shipping. Buy backs $50.00 due before the last race.  Birds should be shipped no older than 28 days of age to Bob between April  25th. & May 17th. 2009.  Do not vaccinate your birds.  Our phone no. is (250) 477-5639 or cell 516-1181. All birds entered become the property of the hosts except those bought back prior to the last race.  The balance of the birds finishing the race will be auctioned off to the highest bidder.  All the shipping expenses are the responsibility of the owner and shipped at your own risk.  All fees paid are non-refundable in the case of loss of the entry regardless of the circumstances surrounding the loss.  Clocking will be done with the Tauris system and results posted on this site as soon as possible.  RACE DATES AND RACE POINTS MAY CHANGE DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS.

The Capital City Racing Pigeon Club plans to hold a Garden Party on Aug. 15th. for the final race.  At this time the over all champion bird will be decided for the Extra.  The club will supply the food and ask that you bring your own chairs and beverage of choice.  More details to follow.  Plan to come and have some fun talking pigeons.  We're going retro and bringing back the derby's of 30 years ago that were all about the sport.  All fliers and guests are welcome.   Stay in touch for up dates.   Any questions?  Contact us at any time to talk it over.   Please let us know if you are planning on attending the garden party so we can arrange for the food.
